Sherman’s Stix & Kicks Legacy Foundation was born from love, loss, and a commitment to create something meaningful in Sherman’s name. What started as a personal journey has grown into a mission to support youth, promote mental wellness, and bring awareness to the challenges impacting our communities.
Sherman’s spirit was joyful, passionate, and full of life. He continues to inspire everything we do. This foundation ensures that his legacy lives on through impact, connection, and opportunity.
My hope is that through this foundation, we create spaces where young people feel seen, supported, and empowered to choose a different path, one filled with purpose, possibility, and community.

Why This Work Matters
Across our communities, young people are facing increasing challenges related to mental health, substance use, and access to support systems. Sherman’s Stix & Kicks Legacy Foundation exists to be part of the solution, creating safe spaces, raising awareness, and investing in the next generation.
Why Golf
Golf was something Sherman and Tasha shared. It was their space for connection, conversation, and joy. Through the foundation, golf becomes more than a game. It becomes a tool for mentorship, discipline, confidence, and community building.
By introducing youth to the game, we create opportunities for growth both on and off the course.
